We will be having our next club meeting on Saturday, March 11, 10:00 AM at the Putnam County Library.
Mike Eden has been working on some ideas to grow the club membership and increase FHRCC’s presence in the community, and to that end he’s investigating getting involved with local school STEM programs with the Flite Test curriculum which is designed to develop student STEM skills through scratch built aircraft activities. Don Cipolla has taken over treasurer duties, established a new club bank account, and will be happily accepting dues payments any time you like. Chuck Harper has plans to resolve some drainage issues at the field, and I’ve been working on an updated club website to try and make FHRCC’s web presence a more useful resource to the club. The annual FHRCC Fly-in is scheduled for June 10, and there will be a night float fly the following Saturday, June 17, at Ridenour.
To hear about all this and more, join us at the library Saturday, March 11 at 10AM.
