An FHRCC meeting was held at 4:00pm Saturday, prior to the night-fly event. President Mike Eden reported that we gained two new members recently, bringing our total to 33. As interim treasurer, Mike reported that we have $2989 in the bank, and that our lease for the field was renewed for the next 5 years, in 1-year increments, with a price tag of $1000 per year. Nominations for 2026 officers were discussed, and it appears that you’re likely to be stuck with the same old crew again next year. It was reported that Glenn Hawley has agreed to take on the treasurer position full-time for the coming year. The election will be completed at the club’s Christmas dinner, which will be held on Friday, December 19, at Angela’s on the River.

Upcoming events include FHRCC & the Mountaineer RC Club’s annual Swap Meet, Saturday, February 28 at Coonskin, and an AMA sanctioned Float-Fly on Saturday, June 20.
