Many of you might have heard that we held a night float fly in October of 2022. Well now, this was met with some skepticism and thoughts of total carnage, but things went quite smoothly and was all kinds of fun. We had about 15 folks show up including 4 night float fly plane’s and 4 brave souls to try this out.

This was so much fun; we’ve decided to do this again. Mark your calendar for June is going to be a Month of Fun and Frolic.

We’re going to have another Night Float fly Saturday June 17th starting at 4pm at Ridnour Lake by the Gazebo. There will be plenty of daylight for daytime float flying followed by Night float flying for those that are brave enough.

There will be a float flying trainer on hand for beginners, kids, spectators, or anyone that wants to try flying. We’ll also have some boats on hand for some fun and frolic closer to the ground..

Dinner will be served at 6pm, including beverages.
