We had a pre-event night-fly at Hillbilly Field on Friday the 9th, followed by a well-attended fly-in on Saturday the 10th, and a successful night float-fly at Ridenour Lake on Saturday the 17th.

Between those two events, AMA announced that they’ve begun accepting FRIA applications for secondary flying sites, and FHRCC’s application for Ridenour is now in the pipeline. Whether FAA will act on any of this before the September 16 deadline remains to be seen, but we’ve done our part.
